is a creative architecture practice located in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter.

Our work spans across a range of sectors and covers a variety of different scales, from individual homes to urban masterplans.

Whatever the project size we aim to deliver inclusive, engaging buildings for those who use them and apply long-term, sustainable thinking to everything we do.

We adopt a rigorous approach to the design process, working closely with our clients every step of the way from concept to completion. Our goal is to design buildings and interiors that enhance our everyday experience of the world around us.

Whether working on a rural home or a town centre development, our commitment lies in unlocking potential by delivering highly crafted, innovative solutions.

Team

Artform is a close-knit team of talented individuals with a shared passion for what we do. We promote a culture of collaboration where everyone in the studio has a voice. At the helm are founding directors, Jason and Simon who have built the practice together since 2014.

Jason Eccles

Jason has previously worked for internationally renowned practice Terry Farrell and Partners in London and spent eight years at Chapman Taylor in Manchester. He has worked on a wide variety of high-end projects in several sectors, obtaining a vast array of experience dealing with front end design and on-site construction.

Simon Jewell

Simon spent eight years at award-winning O’Connell East Architects in Manchester. He holds a Masters in Architectural Management and Practice and has worked on a wide range of residential, educational and student housing projects with experience of all RIBA Stages of work.

Located in a converted mill, our studio is also home to landscape architects, planning consultants and a marketing agency. We came together as a collective to share both a workspace and ideas, allowing us to collaborate on projects, widen our knowledge and socialise as a bigger team.
